NL #5 Haze Mist

Average rating: 4 (5× ratings)

NL5 Haze Mist almost defines its own family tree in the name, but one ancestor is missing. This extremely resinous variety is the result of crossing the original NL5 with Haze, Skunk and Kali Mist. NL5 Haze Mist is a tall and strong plant with a unique aroma and a reasonably short flowering time (at least for a predominantly Sativa plant). She is very easy to grow, has the typical pine tree structure of a Sativa and develops long branches which benefits the productivity if you have enough space to let the plant develop properly.
NL5 Haze Mist is perfectly suited for the ScrOG method and LST (Low Stress Training) and performs particularly well in hydroponic systems, but yields good when planted outdoors as well. Reared on hydro, NL5 Haze Mist responds very well to a slight increase in P and K during week 3-7 into flowering. The pH should be raised gradually from 5.5 in the vegetative period to 6.5 at the end of flowering period; this ensures for great yields and an amazing resin production. NL5 Haze Mist requires 11 weeks to reach full maturity and it is important to let her ripen properly because it is in the last week in which she develops the complex range of terpenes and flavonoids in the resin to produce the unique aroma of sandalwood, incense, musk and forest berries.
NL5 Haze Mist is a pretty good yielder - outdoors the plants have reached full maturity by mid/end October. The buds look like a bunch of combined individual fingers comprised of thick and hard calyxes.
The taste of the smoked buds is very similar to the smell, but with a more pronounced incense scent and a very woodsy note to it. The effect is trippy and uplifting at first, but soon a pleasant physical relaxation adds to the bliss. The cannabinoid blend can effectively help patients suffering from arthritis, spasms, anxiety, pain, tension and cramps.
