Suppositories - Application

Despite the fact that cannabis suppositories are not the preferred way to consume cannabinoids, they are one of the most advantageous application methods, especially for patients suffering from prostatic or gastrointestinal problems. Because they do not enter the body through the mouth, they have no or minimal psychoactive effects compared to oral application. The ideal method of making the suppositories is by mixing the extract with a carrier (e.g. cocoa or shea butter), with the best ratio of the carrier being 80 (cocoa) to 20 (shea) because the cocoa butter itself is too stiff, while shea butter too liquid.
