Maya Gold is an outdoor strain that can be grown in almost every climate because of its resistance to mold and cold, being ready for harvest in mid-September. Maya Gold was created by crossbreeding Malawi Gold (African heritage) and Early Pearl (USA, Californian heritage) which resulted in Early Gold, further crossed with an offspring of Early Sativa and Power Haze XL (Power Plant, African heritage) named Power Sativa. Through this meticulous process, a very stable sativa was created, very suitable for outdoor growing in more northern countries where summers are colder, as it is fast-blooming and very resistant to mold and disease. Its stature is of a typical sativa, narrow and stretched. Maya Gold isn’t suitable for growing indoors because of her extreme height. The flavor is nice, fruity and peppery.
