How to make cannabis jelly bears
Cooking with cannabis is always fun. The final products are not only tasty, but also quite uplifting. Below, you will find a recipe for a twist on your favorite jelly bears.
Ingredients for Thirty Bears
- Hashish or cannabis extract – 1 gram is a standard, however, the amount can be altered according to your needs and potency of your material
- 200 ml of 100% fruit juice
- 10 g of powdered jelly
- Coconut oil
- Jelly molds (if you want bears, these should be obviously bear-shaped)
- A vessel, preferably a pitcher with a tap
Directions
- Bring ca. one third of the juice to the boil.
- Remove from the stove and stir the jelly into the juice until it is completely dissolved, then pour in the rest of the juice.
- Reheat the mixture in a pan, add hashish or cannabis oil and stir fervently.
- Once the cannabinoid material properly blends with the rest of the mixture, pour everything into the vessel. The next step is much easier when the vessel has a tap.
- Pour the mixture into molds greased with the coconut oil.
- Put the molds into a freezer for 15 to 20 minutes. The jelly bears should be firm now.
- Take the molds out of the freezer. If the bears are not firm yet, leave them inside the freezer for few more minutes.
- Carefully take the bears out of the molds. Now you can enjoy them!
Your bears are now ready for a discreet consumption! The choice of the kind of juice does not matter but we do recommend an orange juice, strawberry juice or redcurrant juice – you will not make a mistake with either of these, they match with the cannabis flavor with style.
